Hey guys, so I thought February was a bad month for me. Well, it had nothing on March. Now obviously some major stuff happened that distracted me, but it was just a hard month for me creatively. I barely read, didn’t write, not my WIP, not any reviews, not anything else I wanted to work on. Nope, a bad creative month for me. But even though stuff is still happening here, I want to put myself in a better place, mentally, so I can read and be creative again. So, let's see how April goes.
Anyway, so in March, I read 4 books… yeah, bad month this time. But thankfully the four books I read were good, so at least that was a win. So here it goes.
Supernova by Marissa Meyer
This was the final book in the Renegades trilogy. I enjoyed the series overall, but this book was my absolute favourite of the three. It was so much fun and had all the action I was craving. However, it was a tad predictable, which I was a little annoyed about, just with a couple of the big reveals, and me yelling called it when reading it. I rated it a four, but it’s a 4.5, just shy of a five-star read. After that epilogue, I could 100% see a spin-off coming about a certain couple of characters.

All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace
I adored this book, absolutely adored it! It was exactly what I was craving and expecting; however, it took me by surprise as I didn’t expect most of what happened. It was a beautifully crafted world and story, and I loved everything about it. I mean, we had a pirate adventure, a world in disarray, a princess who needs to save her people, secrets, monsters, magic, reveals that shocked us, mermaids, and more shocking events. So good! I cannot wait for the next book!!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab
This book was the conclusion to the Darker Shade of Magic or Shades of Magic trilogy. And OMGS so good! I thought this was an epic conclusion to the series and was a really good read. I love the fact that it's got a lot of the world left to be discovered, so I cannot wait to hear more about this spin-off that is in the works. I want more Kell, Lila, Rhy, and Alucard! I am curious what will happen in the next lot as a few things were left unanswered, and a lot of uncertainty in the world.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
The final book I read this month was the book club book of the month. This book was a pretty fun read, and one I thoroughly enjoyed. I had some issues with certain aspects, but I loved the characters otherwise. I loved the adventure they went on, and that ending! Like my gods! It was such a cliff-hanger that I am wanting to read the second one as soon as I can!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall, a bad reading month. After Passenger, which I read about halfway through, I just didn’t pick up anything else. And that and ACOL I read while away, where I read less than I was intending. Then once I got home, I just didn’t have the motivation to do much of anything really. But I’ve already finished one book for April, it was tiny but still… We’ll get there.
